Sock Puppet

How to make your very own sock puppet!!!! Now this is good clean fun folks! lol Things You’ll Need: •Wiggly Eyes •Cotton Socks •Single Socks •3/8-inch Dowels •Styrofoam Balls •Batting •Craft Pompoms •Fabric Glue •Felt •Scrap Yarn •Cotton Swabs •Cotton Swabs •Plastic Drinking Cups •Scissors •Scissors •Construction Paper •Permanent Markers •Pipe Cleaners •Permanent markers •Pipe cleaners Hand Puppet Step 1 Save a single clean sock. The sock needs to be large enough to fit loosely over a child’s hand. Step 2 Gather craft supplies such as construction paper, permanent marker, wiggly eyes, felt, yarn, pipe cleaners, craft glue, cotton balls or batting. Step 3 Place hand in sock with thumb and fingers working like a mouth. Step 4 Mark lightly with a marker – areas for mouth, eyes, nose, and ears. Step 5 Cut ears and mouth from felt and glue in marked areas with fabric glue or craft glue. Step 6 Glue wiggly eyes in place. However, make eyes with a black permanent marker if puppet is going to be using by small children. Step 7 Use yarn cut into small strings and glued to sock for hair or horse’s mane. Step 8 Make antlers, horns, or antennas from pipe cleaners. Stick Puppet Step 1 Use an adult-sized clean sock. Step 2 Gather craft supplies: Styrofoam balls, 3/8-inch dowel rod, plastic cups, wiggly eyes, felt, yarn, pipe cleaners, craft glue, craft pompoms, and cotton balls. Step 3 Push the dowel rod at an angle into the Styrofoam ball. Step 4 Cut four ear shapes for your puppet from felt. Step 5 Lay a pipe cleaner bent in half on one felt ear shape and glue the other felt ear shape on top – leaving about 1 inch of pipe cleaner sticking out of the bottom of the ear. This is what you will stick into the foam ball. Step 6 Place foam ball with dowel rod inside sock. Step 7 Glue on wiggle eyes, or draw eyes with a permanent marker. Step 8 Glue or draw on nose. Pompoms found in a store’s craft department make cute noses. Step 9 Cut a small slit in the sock on the side of the head for the ears. Poke the pipe cleaner through the slit into the foam ball. Make pipe-cleaner antennas the same way. Step 10 Stuff the neck with batting. You will need to use enough batting to make the head stand up. Step 11 Cut a hole into the bottom of the plastic cup. Turn cup upside down and slide over dowel rod up inside the sock neck. Step 12 Move puppet by holding the cup and moving the dowel rod. I would love to see what you come up with, just email me your sock puppet pictures to my email and maybe I’ll post them. Stacie 1-888-430-2010

Think About It

This quote is worth remembering, and anytime a friend of mine is to give birth for the first time I tell them this quote. As Mother’s (no I have no children of my own, but if I did I would keep this quote in mind) you have to be very mindful of what you say to your children and the manner in which you say it. A very harsh word can do more damage then a quick swat on the rear end. My Mom taught me that you never speak to a child when you are extremely angry, you take a few minutes to calm down then you address the situation. I think that that is a great rule to follow, children listen better when you talk to them, then when you go in guns ablazing and you are yelling and screaming. Anyway here is the quote: What the mother sings the cradle goes all the way down to the coffin. – Henry Ward Beecher See why it’s such a great quote? Liz 1-888-430-2010

Swaddled

Now this gave me such a tickle when I saw it! Poor little kitty! But then I was thinking, what a wonderful way of keeping an especially naughty little one under wraps, so to speak, hehe. Keeping them wrapped up snuggly and firmly so they can not squirm or misbehave or, heaven forbid, try and touch their little weewee in their diaper (like they try to do so very often, tsk tsk). So after an afternoon, or even a full day and night of being bound and denied of any movement of any kind, I believe I would have a very compliant and obedient ABie on my hands, willing to do (or not do) whatever I ask of them – exactly how I like my ABies, hehehe. My Nursery

Look at these plush toys are they not just the cutiest thing you have ever seen? I think preparing for a newborn has to be almost as sweet as bringing them home. Afterall, a lot of time, consideration goes into all the preparing. The color choice, the furniture, how to decorate the walls, babies first toys which in my nursery would include these cutie pies, soft little cuddle bugs! Everything soft, bright and cheerful. I envision my nursery with a murrel of a rainbow, a jade colored pasture blooming wild flowers, bunnies, birds, squirrels playing under the babyblue sky. Mommy Sara 1 888 430 2010

abdl hypnosis

Have you ever been hypnotized to wet your diaper? Or have you been hypnotized to feel like a real baby? You just might find that you love it, and love the feeling. Don’t forget that some of the abdl mommies here make custom hypnosis audio files for diaper wetting and abdl. If you’d like one you just have to speak with the dispatcher. Also I love to hear from abies who have done this kind of hypnosis in the past. So lets talk and share our hypnosis experiences together. Mommy Scarlet

Vacation

It is vacation time. I know I need one, and I’m sure most of you do too. I haven’t been on a vacation for years! YEARS!!! This year is different though, I’m taking one darn it! And even if it turns out to be the worst vacation ever, I don’t really care, because at least I got away for a couple of weeks. I am very much looking forward to it. Roll on summer, roll on! Anyway, where are some of you going? Any place exotic? Or have you been somewhere exotic? Send me an email and lemme know. Stacie 1-888-430-2010

Only In California

One great thing about living where I live is running into people like this: One thing is for certain, you have to be very sure of yourself to go out in public with something like this on.  From this angle it makes you wonder where he has the American Flag attached. *giggle*  Especially with a g-string on.  He has it rigged onto the small of the g-string.  Where did you think he had it? SILLY! *giggles* Jenna 1-888-430-2010

The Wizard of Oz

They are playing a classic all weekend this weekend! One of my favorites and I am sure a favorite to many others as well! An all time American great to enjoy over the weekend kick back and regress. Strap on those diapers, slip into your comfy cozy pj’s, grab your favorite blankey, stuffed toy, eat some ice cream, snuggle up close, while taking a journey back to the one and only place where dreams really do come true ! Happy Fourth!

Can you believe it? It’s the fourth already! Hope everyone is having a great time – picnics, barbeques, sprinklers and pools, and of course fireworks (I personally look forward to the water balloon fights)! But remember to be safe and take it easy on the “adult” drinks (or as one Abie says, adult apple juice, hehe). Happy Fourth of July!! Mommy Maggie 1*888*430*2010
