The Package

It was mid-morning when my doorbell rings. It was the fed-ex delivery guy; he had a package for you, my dear sweet neighbor and boyfriend to my best friend Becky. But no one is there, and he doesn’t feel comfortable leaving it on the doorstep. He asks if I wouldn’t mind holding it for you until you get home. ~ Being the helpful neighbor that I am, naturally I told the fed-ex guy that I would be more then happy to accept the package for you. But when I got […]

Have a Coke and a Smile

Ok, so when I saw this, like a thousand different images and scenarios and ideas came swarming into my mind (after the involuntary shudder passed through my body, of course).  Admit it; it did for you as well.  And every Coke catch phrase and advertisement did as well – Can’t Beat the Feeling; Can’t Beat the Real Thing; It’s the Real Thing; The Official Soft Drink of the Summer; Always Coca-Cola; and of course, Have a Coke and a Smile.  Unless of course it is a Mountain Dew bottle – […]

Back to Business!

With the holidays past up now and a New Year ahead it is time to get back to business. Of course what that means for me is dirty diapers by the dozen, hungry babies that need breastfed, and many overdue spankings! Mommy Lauren is ready for her task ahead and eager to make sure that my adult babies are too! Your Nursery Awaits! Lauren 1 888 430 2010

Auld Lang Syne

Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And auld lang syne! Chorus.-For auld lang syne, my dear, For auld lang syne. We’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet, For auld lang syne. Did you know? Although the song is traditionally sung at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve, in Scotland, where it originates, it is sung on January 25th aka Burns Night, in recognition and celebration of the author and famous poet Robert Burns. ‘Auld Lang Syne’ literally translates from […]

Happy New Year

Wow! Where has the time gone?  I can’t believe we are about to venture into a new decade!  Just remember to be safe while bringing in not only the New Year, but the new decade as well.  Don’t be over indulging in that special “juice” in that bottle of yours, and leave the driving to mommy and daddy!  And just think, you don’t have to worry about lines to the bathroom either – you already have your “bathroom” securely fastened on, hehehe! Have a safe and Happy New Year!! Mommy […]

Christmas Birds

Awwwww!!! Aren’t they just the cutest thing! Quite the fashion statement these penguins are making! I think they are just trying to get in Santa’s good graces hoping that he will bring them a couple of really big pails of fish, hehehe. Think it’ll work? I personally think they have earned a crate full of fish, LOL! Well anyways, I hope everyone has a Happy Christmas and can stay warm like our two little friends here! P.s. what’s black and white and red all over? Sorry, I couldn’t resist 😛 […]

A Visit with Santa

Mommy has a special surprise for youabie! Today we are going to the mall and see a very special elf! Yes, that’s right, Santa Claus himself!  Now no crying or being naughty, and yes you have to sit on his lap and tell him what you want for Christmas.  (never you mind all the kids and mommies pointing and giggling at you)  And if you behave yourself maybe he will give you a special paci with a candy cane at the end instead of a nipple.  Wouldn’t that be fun […]

Favorite Christmas Type Character

Everyone loves Santa…except maybe if he has an ex-wife, then I guess she doesn’t love him all that much. Anyway, who is your favorite Christmas character, it can be from a book, a play, a song, you get the idea. I wonder if you can guess who mine is..go on…take a guess. 100 points to you if you picked this guy: This is the Ghost of Christmas Present. Isn’t he awesome? I think so. Leave it to Dickens to incorporate Death into a story about turning your life around. When […]

He’s Making a List, Checking Twice…

Ok, so this brings a whole new spin on the jolly ol’ elf thing!  But I thought it was both cute and a bit unsettling, which I like, so naturally I wanted to share. (Isn’t that we’re taught to do anyway – to share?  Take note Santa 😉 ).  Hmmm, I can think of a few things to do with the end of that AK-47, hehe.  Shhhh!   Don’t tell Santa, lest I end up on his naughty list!
